Okay so an update on Jack, he went all day today, even through church with no accidents. He hadn't pooped yet on the toilet so I have been trying to get that to happen all day. Well we just had our first poop accident, I was so tempted to just throw away the underwear....I don't really know which is worse, dealing with that or a 4 year old in diapers....,maybe I'm not ready for this. For some reason he just freaks out when he needs to sit on the toilet, I think the pooping is going to be a challenge. But other than that I am shocked at how well he is doing. Today in sacrament meeting I kept asking him if he needed to go and he finally turned to me and loudly said, "Mom just leave me alone!"

Don't give up. He will decide soon that he does not like the way the poop feels in his underwear. Just hang in there and hopefully it will only take a couple of weeks. Maybe he'll have it down by the wedding and Grammy will have a special treat for him!
yes it is so gross, but you have to be tough and stick with it. Carlaya pooped in so many panties! I hated it, I was always washing them out in the toilet (dunking them) LOL and then washing them out in the tub. SICK! he he
It just happens, but they eventually learn and it will then be worth the trouble!
Pretty much I was a panty-throw-away-person. I couldn't deal with the mess. Anyway, it's still early. Accidents are inevitable and will go away soon. Good luck on the new week!
Yes, poop accidents are the worst! However, I agree, eventually he will realize he doesn't like the way poop feels. I guess I am mean, but I even a few times made them wait a few minutes in it before I "got around" to cleaning it. I just told them, "I can't clean it up just yet, but as soon as I am done with the dishes or (insert verb here)I will help you clean-up. Needless to say, they didn't like that and sometimes would throw a fit about it, which is when I would say, "Well if you just make it to the toilet before you go in your panties then you don't have to feel yucky like you do right now." I also created a pee-pee & poopy chart. They got stickers for every day (or you can even do every hour at first) they didn't have an accident and when the chart was full of stickers they got to go to the store and pick out ANY toy they wanted...I always took them to the dollar store. It worked. I am all about bribing my children :) Good luck you will figure out what works best for Jack.
I have had to deal with the poop in the underwear thing--NOT fun. Keep going and don't give up. Underwear is always better than diapers.
He'll get the hang of it in good time and before you know it, it will be Lincoln's turn:)
Congradulations on starting to potty train. I think getting them to understand and accept the concept is the hardest. He will have it down in no time. Sorry to hear about poor Lincoln. Wow what a trooper.
That is really funny! I love his comment.
I have no experience in this one so all I can say is good luck!
Gosh mom, he has it under control....he certainly has a mind of his own We rae so proud of you Jack See ya at Uncle Jordan's wedding!!!!
