So I gave Jack some watercolor paints today that he got for Christmas from my mom. This was his first time trying them, the first picture was just like a blob, just getting used to how the paints work. And then Shauna called me downstairs and I saw this little beauty. All I can say is he takes after his very talented dad.

The little guy always amazes me. What a little artist he is already! Tell him Grammy wants him to save her a picture.
ok i would like to just end all speculation. I didnt do any of that picture. Yes there was direction and i may or may not of showed him what the shape of a cloud looked like drawing it on the paper with my finger, but that is it. He did that all on his own.

I love that Shauna had to say something. Don't worry he would have figured it out soon anyways. You are so good giving him projects, that's what Melissa, Bethany and Rebecca were talking about the other night. Keeping the kids busy, but they are learning too. It keeps the toys all over the house down to a minimum if you can have diferent projects for them to do. Or at least you can say go to the project drawer and make something cool. They love it when their art and writings are around the house. Like Amy said and send some to gramas too!
Wow! Genetics are crazy! I'm sure he'll have Justin's abilities. Max is just now starting to get the idea of how to draw a face. That's so awesome!p.s. Has Shauna potty trained Jack yet?
