Grandma would be proud!

Here is the cake Shauna and I had been working on for the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet. The theme was Chinese New Year. This was a lot of fun, my first attempt at a cake like this. We made the patches out of gum paste and then painted them with food coloring. When we were making it we felt like we were on "Ace of Cakes" (one of my favorite shows) Anyways it was huge, it fed 75 people.

Oh my goodness! That is amazing! I now even more sad that we don't live close anymore. I would hire you for so many many things!

Great Cake Megan! Our banquet is next month, I don't think I will be as adventurous.

I'm with Rebecca how did it taste. I am not sure you really made this cake. I think you will have to prove it, next time you are here. :-)
