Luck?

Well last night after leaving Bunco I was feeling pretty lucky! After 6 months of NEVER winning a single prize, last night i took home the best prize, so I was excited. Well my luck quickly ran out. On the way home I was in an accident. On St. Rose Pkwy at Bermuda. The guy in from on me was going to turn onto Bermuda when he noticed the cones and quickly swerved back into my lane....not a problem, i wasn't following close and a quick tap of my brakes was all I needed to avoid any accident, or I thought. After the car had turned out of no where I was rear ended. The lady obviously wasn't paying attention or was following me to close and ran into me at about 50mph. We were both fine, my car held up pretty good (makes me love my VW even more when I realized how good it withstood the impact), her's on the other hand did not, it was totally crunched up to the windshield. of course it took forever for the police to arrive, then i went to the hospital and my doctor wanted the baby monitored for 2 hours. Everything is FINE! So I guess I really am lucky, the extent of my injuries is a busted thumb nail, which by the way hurts really bad, and I am getting stiffer my the hour. I will post a picture of the cat soon, I'm just way to tired to do that now, we didn't get home from the hospital until 2:45am!

How the Nursery is Coming Along

Well since i am having the 3rd boy i just assumed i would use what i have and save some money. Well that was until i ran into the 50% off rack at target a couple of weeks ago. I found all this adorable bedding that was being discontinued and snatched up all they had. So now i am so excited about the nursery. I got everything except a crib bumper for $20, that's including a night light and the wall decals. I just finished painting yesterday and so here is the progress of the room. we still have a ways to go but i think it is coming along adorable.

i know it probably seems like i am always baking and that's because I am! Whenever Lincoln sees me cooking he ALWAYS has to bring his chair over and try to help, which normally means eat whatever is in my bowl. Here he is having at the cake batter. One of his famous saying is "Ummm Yummy!"

Our Happenings This Week

Lincoln watching Toy Story with his Buzz and Woody, I had to put this picture because we have watched this movie at lest once a day this week.

We mad a cake and the boys went a little crazy with the sprinkles. Lincoln just kept licking the cake while Jack was trying to frost it.

We went to "pump it up" and the kids had a blast jumping and playing.

Also we decided to take advantage of the fact that we FINALLY have dental insurance and made visits to the dentist. It was Jack's first time and I have no pictures because it wasn't the most pleasant experience for him. He was soooo scared, but when the dentist was looking in his mouth he actually did great and i was very proud of him. Of course i have a few cavities, nothing new for me and my husband the big brat had none (this is annoying because he hasn't been to the dentist in like 6 years) so hopefully the boys get the Patrick teeth.

Right now Justin is on an Young Men's trip hiking the "Narrows" in Zion. Last night while he was gone i got a babysitter and went out with Shauna and my friend Rissa, we went to dinner and then saw the movie "House Bunny" which by the way was hilarious.

First I have to say I do realize that you are all probably sick of me talking about a name for this baby, but to me....well I'm obsessed, sorry!

okay so as you know i like the name Cal so I have been thinking about using Callahan, but which do you prefer, Callahan or Calvin?

Massages!

So last night Justin and I treated ourselves to massages. My friend Breanna's sister came to our house and everything. Justin got a "Deep Tissue" and I got the "Swedish" massage. We each had a one hour session, it was HEAVEN. If you live here in Las Vegas you should really have her come and do you! It's only $30 for the hour for a "Swedish" so worth it.

My Boys

How can I not post this picture of the handsome men in my life! These are the boys watching the Olympics last night, Jack and Lincoln thought the men gymnastics was really cool, then they would try to do some tricks of their own. So cute!

The Boys Room

So since I got the great deal on the bunk bed and the bedspreads I have been trying to make the boys room cute. So I have been looking online for a cute idea for pictures and I stumbled across a room with some robots on the wall and that's how I got the idea. I bought two canvases, searched for some cute robots to copy and bought the paint ( i used the colors from their bedspreads). As I was painting them the boys were so excited. Of course Jack immediately assigned one to himself and the other to Lincoln, he naturally wanted the one with the green background. Well the next morning when he woke up he noticed that "Lincoln's" robot had a green face and his had blue........this did not make him happy, i guess he wanted EVERYTHING to be green. Anyways after what seemed like a million coats of paint they are finished and I think they look pretty cute on the wall. Now I just need to paint the walls, which I am planning on just doing a beige color.

New Names

So after the last name poll we have made some adjustments. Some of the names have stuck and I think i added one new. As you can see I am a little obsessed with what this kid will be named....so many choices. This time you can only vote for one so choose wisely. If you don't like my selections, well than we don't share the same name likes, that's okay but you will not persuade me to pick one of your lame names!

My Latest Cake

I did a cake for my friends little guys first birthday party. We did the polka dot theme with matching cupcakes. I think it turned out really cute. Let me know if you want a cake for anything, this has become one of my fun new hobbies.

Jack's Home!

Jack is home and we couldn't be more thrilled. Him and Lincoln have already made a pirate ship out of blankets and I am so glad Lincoln has someone to play with again!

Last night when he got home we were watching the Olympics, Women's Gymnastics and Jack says this,
" Ummm, why are their underpants going inside their bums?"

And He's Off!

So my baby just left to go to California with my sister Shauna to visit his grandparents for the weekend. He was so excited to go, wanting to pack everything he could in his suitcase. I am a little sad! He's all grown up. When we asked him if he would miss us he said, "I'm not going to be sad." Here are some pictures of him leaving us! I know he will have a great time.

Justin's New Ride!

So after months of only one car and me being the taxi driving Justin to and from work, we were thrilled to hear that Justin would be getting a company truck. When we got it it was just black and then Justin had to design a "Skeletal Metal" wrap for it. And this is what he came up with. Pretty sweet huh. For those of you that don't know Justin is the creative director for his company and "Skeletal Metal" is part of that. He has designed all of the advertising including, website, postcards, stickers, banner, magazine ads, T-shirts, hats......basically the whole companies identity. I am so proud of him, he does an AWESOME job!

This weekend he went to the X-games in L.A. for some promoting. He had a blast! here is the only picture he took, with his phone, pretty cool huh!
