So my sister Shauna stumbled across this ladies blog, where she has posted pictures and graphic detail of her home birth. So Shauna posted on her blog, her reaction. You have to check it out, and read the comments, it is hilarious. The lady some how saw that Shauna linked her blog and so she went on to Shauna's blog and posted some comments. So pretty much it is a banter between the two of them on Home Births. Michelle and Bethany I thought you two would especially get a kick out of this. It made my day that's for sure!

oh crap! that has gotten way out of hand! Did you think that Shauna would come take pictures of my next birth. We are going to do it at home and I want to make sure I have enough boob shots to post!!
Ok. So that was hilarious! I am all about Shauna's side. That was a great entertaining read!
LEFT A COMMENT ON SHAUNA'S TELL ME IF I SOUND STUPID
Ok so that was the most entertaining thing that I have read on a blog! Shauna is hilarious and I agree with her 100% Placenta Print? Wow! I guess each to their own, but gross! The thing that cracks me up is that these "home birthers" keep implying that if you use drugs to help, or heaven forbid have to be "sliced open" you are less of a woman and mother than if you feel every ache and pain and just let your baby die rather have the c-section. I prefer to actually have loving feelings towards the baby coming out of me, not screaming in agony and anger because I am in pain! Also, as you know Skye wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the fact that I wasn't 'sliced open'! I am all for people making their own choices about where and how they give birth, but if their going to blog about it, with explicit pics for the world to see, then they should expect some comments and opinions about it...sorry but it is not the "norm" to have a placenta print posted on your wall. Can you imagine the horror guests have when they comment on how pretty the pic is and then the mother says, well that is our sweet babies Placenta Print, and that actually is not red paint that is the blood from the placenta. WOW! Freaky! Also, if my mom had done an at home birth, I would have died and she would have, too. I do agree with the fact that you can know if things will be ok through a blessing, but why risk your babies life and your life, just so you can be 'different', this lady didn't need to do all of this for that, we can all tell she is a little 'different' without the homebirth documentary! Anyhoo, AMEN SHAUNA!
Wow!!! What can you say about all of that. Megan I loved your post about being sliced open and looking good while it happens!! Props!
Well This is quite the topic!
