HELP!!!

Okay so for weeks now we have been having issues at night with Lincoln. For a while he was throwing up every night, and now he is just waking up. But I am talking about waking up at 3am and being wide awake until 5:30, only to wake up again by 6:30. I am at my wits end. Thanks to my friend Michelle I didn't lose it today, but I was close. Michelle took my kids this morning for 2 hours so I could have a nap. I feel like I have tried everything to get this boy to sleep. I have tried putting him down later at night, but that always blows up in my face because the later he goes to bed, the earlier he gets up. I have tried drugging him, I know this is bad but the kid is NOT sleeping. Even the nights I have given him Benadryl he still isn't sleeping. HELP!!! I need a good nights sleep, I am so tired and cranky, I have so much to do in the days but no energy at all. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do??????

Cupcake Bites

So I hosted Bunco at my house last night. I did a little baking theme with the prizes and so I made these little beauties. Shauna and I saw these on another blog and I just had to try them. They are cake balls, what that means is inside the chocolate coating is chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting fixed together. So yummy and adorable. Warning don't make these if you don't have a lot of time on your hands, or unless you are crazy like me. They were very time consuming.

Last Weekend

So i am a little behind on my blogging. Last weekend my brother Jordan and his wife Kristine came for a visit. We had a lot of fun, we went to Primm to shop, to the temple and just hung out. The boys LOVED every minute of having them here. Especially Jack because they played "Mario" with him for HOURS. I learned something new about my new sister-in-law, she is a serious gamer. She could not stop playing the Nintendo and then at night she wanted to play games non stop. She taught me to play speed, which i sucked at and she wouldn't let me quit. Any ways it was a very fun weekend and we will miss seeing them while they are in Chicago.

Home Birth

So my sister Shauna stumbled across this ladies blog, where she has posted pictures and graphic detail of her home birth. So Shauna posted on her blog, her reaction. You have to check it out, and read the comments, it is hilarious. The lady some how saw that Shauna linked her blog and so she went on to Shauna's blog and posted some comments. So pretty much it is a banter between the two of them on Home Births. Michelle and Bethany I thought you two would especially get a kick out of this. It made my day that's for sure!

First Birthday

So last Friday I did my first cake by myself, with out Shauna. It was for my friend Michelle's sons first birthday. She wanted giraffes, it turned out pretty cute, but i didn't think I needed to use the supports like the bigger cakes we've done, so it ended up leaning a bit. But it was delicious! Any one in need of a cake, as you can see I need lots of practice! Thanks Michelle for letting me do this.

On a Lighter Note

So after my near suicidal post yesterday (sorry about that by the way). I was thrilled that the Bachelor was on last night. For lack of shows on Monday nights, Justin has actually been watching this season with us, which is a first. Since he isn't as invested in this show as Shauna and I he has a hard time knowing who we are talking about because he doesn't know their names. So we have come up with the following nicknames for all of them. Robin- Sheila- mom and erin will be the only ones to get this one.

Shayne- Baby- you may have noticed that she "loves to cuddle" and he is always cradling her like a baby.
Noelle- Karen, from the office


Chelsea- Butch, she is just too manly for my taste

Marshana- Lips, no need to explain that

Amanda- Meeps, if you watch the show you will know, although last night we didn't hear a single meep from her. Justin says that would be a deal breaker for him, its a good thing i am perfect right!

And it's only 10am

So I wake up this morning (early) to the sound of Lincoln crying. So I go into his room only to be greeted by the wonderful smell of poop and puke! Nice start to my day, so I change Lincoln and proceed to clean up the puke all over his sheets and blanket. Then we head off to take Shauna to work and on the way home Lincoln pukes again! Twice! I get home, put him in the bath, start to take apart his car seat to clean it. I then go back to get my clean Lincoln out of the bath only to find that he pooped again in the bath. So I get him clean again, then I clean the bath......It's only 10am! I have a feeling this is going to be a great day, and that is reassured to me by the fact that I have 2 boys at the moment crying my name just wanting to be held...alone, so one will ALWAYS be crying. Good luck to me today.

okay for all of you who spend such quality time watching the Bachelor every Monday night, were you just dying last night. Can this be real? I thought he wanted an "American" girl. All I could do is just say to myself what?????? Is anybody with me on this? It's not that I am racist, I think a normal black girl would be just fine, but come on.....do you have to wear diamonds down your part and Indian wedding dresses??? For those of you who don't watch, he picked the first girl over the second, and you might ask is the blonde a weirdo, the answer to that is NOT AT ALL, but the black girl is pretty much as strange as you can get.

Still Awake!

It's 3:30am right now and I am still awake.....just thought I would share. It looks like I am in for a fun day tommorrow.

Awesome New Park

We have this new outdoor mall here called Town Square, it almost makes me forget I am in Vegas, it is awesome. Well they have this cool park in the middle which we love! It has all of these store fronts. Jack and Lincoln love this one, Jack is always pretending to work the register and sell the cakes to any of the kids coming in. Lincoln just likes to climb up on the counter and pretend like he is eating the cakes. They also have a tree house, a cute little hedge maze...its just really fun. And fun for me too since there is an H&M there. It is always hard to make it home from the park without a little something for mom, so its a win, win for all of us!

Anyone can cook!

Jack always wants to help me cook and the funny thing is whenever he helps me he has to put on his apron which he calls his "Ratatuoille" . Here he is serving Justin some cake, he is so proud. I just think this picture is adorabloe.

please excuse my messy house in the background, I was just about to get to that, the boys have been sick with the flu so I have been doing a lot of laundry to keep up with them and everything else is neglected. I just thought Lincoln was being too cute. I was showing Shuana last night how Jack could add by singing this song, we were in the car and all of a sudden Lincoln was doing it. He is growing up so fast. Too bad is hasn't been sleeping since I took the bottle away from him, I am so tired. He has been waking up like a new baby....I'm loosing it!

I am destined to be fat

I am trying so hard to go to the gym 3 times a week, and on Monday the child care was full so I couldn't go and today I was about a block away from the gym when Jack throws up all over himself. I was so tempted to stop at walmart and buy him a new outfit and just go anyway, but i was good. Oh well I guess i will just be fat today.

Public Apology

Okay so I would like to apologize to anyone and everyone that has used my toilets in the last month. Let me just say March was crazy with 2 trips for my brothers wedding, piano, primary and just stuff. Well I just got around to cleaning my toilets today....I know I am a terrible house keeper...and I couldn't believe how much pee in on the toilet seat, the toilet base and the floor around the toilet. I guess with having a little one standing to pee I will need to be more religious about cleaning my toilets. So to all of you who call yourselves friends and didn't tell me how bad it was...I'm so sorry you had to see that!
