Coleman

So we got to hold him for the first time today around 2pm.....yeah! I was so excited, I also got to try to feed him. It finally felt a bit more real. Our little Coleman has been taken off of the ventilator, and his lungs are looking fine. Now they only have him on the IV and feeding tubes and now we are just working on the feeding. We love him, he is sooo cute, we cannot decide if he looks like Lincoln or not, I think he does, but Justin thinks he just looks like his own and Kristine thinks he looks like Jack. I still haven't seen him with his eyes open, but hopefully soon. Thank you for all who have called and prayed for our little man.

How exciting that you got to hold him! Can you imagine if he had held on for 4 more weeks, you might have had a 8lb baby like me? I hope everything goes well and you get to go home soon!

He does NOT look like a preemie to me. What a sweet baby. I can't wait to hold him. I think he probably will look more like Lincoln than Jack, but I can also see how he could have his own look. I'm so happy that the both of you are doing well! We really love you guys:) Congratulations!

Oh yeah, my first thought was that he reminded me of your dad. What do you think?

Wow and congratulations! He is cute. We have did the ICU thing last year with Eliza, no fun. That is great that you have been able to hold him. I love the name too. When do you go back home? Did your mom come over to help out or is she waiting until you go home. At least you will have a great story to tell him and you dont have to be in a rush at Christmas!!!

Megan, Congratulations!

I am so glad you and your little guy are doing good, and that you're both healthy and well, considering. Let me know if you need anything when you get back to Vegas. Good Luck and Happy Holidays! (Christmas came early for you :D )

Hi guys! Glad you got to leave the hospital! Hope all is going just fine for you all! Coleman is a way better name than those others you were considering. I know a few little kids named Cole...is that the acceptable nickname for him? Or Lil C? or how about Manny? haha. Love you! Rebecca

Now you will have a one month old at Christmas!!! Yay! So sorry to hear that he has to be on the ventilater! That is scary, and hard not to be able to hold him much. I truly hope all goes well and you have him home in a week! I'll call you later this week (give ya some rest time) then I want to come out and meet the little guy! So tiny and has his own little look!! :) Love the name too!! Good pick!
