Folsom Reception

so after we finally made it to Folsom we had a great time hanging out with the family. On Saturday we had an Open House for Jordan and Kristine. Here are some pictures from that. the whole family, Erin and Quinn even came down from Toronto which was so fun! Just for fun Shauna and I attempted our first wedding cake, it was really fun, definitely a learning experience and I think it turned out pretty good.

I think the cake is amazing. Way to go Megan and Shauna! I can't believe how our families are all grown up. It seems only yesterday we were driving around Folsom, or even Provo.

Your cake really turned out great. Good job. It is always nice to be around family for the holidays. You have got to love Lincoln's drool. It looks as if it were Halloween and not Easter.

Are you from Folsom? We are moving to Sacramento in a few months. Please contact me so I can ask some questions about the area!!! Great cake too!!! Dont you love making them? I started so I would be good enough for Mackenzee's wedding.

Wow, so cute Meg! Did you guys ice in fondant? If so, how was it? I was a little scared to actually ice the cake I made in fondant.

You and Shauna are awesome!

Very impressive. I would not even know where to start, never mind being willing to show the final product. It looks great, I am sure it tasted just as good :-)

Your should start a craft blog - you already have so many fun things.

Sorry i guess I haven't looked at your blog for a while. Amazing cake. When I saw the pic, I though, wow, nice cake. Then I saw that writing...you and Shauna made the cake! I am so impressed. You definently have a talent with baking, decorating, stamping, and the list goes on. You are amazing!
