This zoo gets 2 very big thumbs down.....very lame. We were all excited to see teh tiger and we get there and there is a sogn, "In Loving Memory" from 2003. It was just the most ghetto zoo you can imagine with a million birds flying everywhere....Gross. Jack enjoyed it though, Linc was afraid of the birds, big giant roosters would like come right up to the stroller, he wasn't a fan.

The boys loved the Folsom Zoo, but Lincoln was afraid of the roosters there too. They can be pretty aggressive. We will have to take them to the Sacramento Zoo someday. Mom
HAHA! You are already posted! I'm just getting started. Yea I put our clothes in the washing machine as soon we got home. I need to take another shower I feel so gross. At least we didn't get pooped on by the birds. Fun adventure =0)

I've only been there once, a long time ago, and it was pretty ghetto! Glad you guys tested it out for me so I know it's not worth the trip when Nate is older.
I've never been there, but I knew it was ghetto. #1 for being where it is, but #2 I've heard from lots of people that it is not worth it. I love the San Diego Zoo, we've been there a couple times- It's way nice. I plan to go to Nebraska in the spring to stay with my lil' sister and go to the Omaha Zoo which is one of the top in the nation. :)
So I didn't even know there was a zoo there! Sorry it sucked!
OMG...We were there today and I am totally with you, it was GHETTO! The pathways were not stroller friendly, there was bird poop EVERYWHERE, barely any animals, and they don't even have that elephant statue there anymore...LOL! If you're ever in Hawaii...you'd LOVE the zoo there =)
