Utah

After California we got in the car and headed to Utah for a little Patrick family reunion. My sister-in-law Melissa and I decided to leave early Wednesday morning so that we could just get there. So we caravaned and it was HORRIBLE! It took us 13 hours with the time change and driving that long by yourself is a challenge. I love Justin and I take advantage of the fact that he normally drives and I can nap because I actually fell asleep at the wheel and almost killed my family! Yikes, I will never take that risk again!

The first day there we went up to Snowbird and to the Alpine slides there. It was beautiful!! Here is Grandma with the little ones that couldn't ride, Eliza and Coleman.

Papa went down with Lincoln.

I went down with Jack

Jack pulling the slide up.

Here are the boys waiting in line for the slide.....absolutely gorgeous (the boys and the scenery)

Lincoln and I going up on the ski lift....my favorite part.

Jack rode up with Papa

As we were leaving Snowbird we were walking by a little stream. Jack was saying it was a river and then he said, "I think it's going to lead to Jordan's flow" (from the Baptism primary song)

We also went to the Ochre Temple open house. It was one of the most beautiful temples I have been through. When we went into the sealing room for a little explaination Papa was holding Coleman and luck would have it they say right in front of the mirror that you can see your reflection forever...well Coleman got a kick out of watching himself and was laughing the entire time. It was really loud, but really stinking cute!

When we were about to go in I was explaining to Jack that this was like his favorite song, "I love the see the Temple...I'm going there someday"..... His reply was, "Yeah mom, but I don't think we're going to feel the Holy Spirit"...it was cute, of course I told him that if he was reverent he could.
Trying to get a picture of the 3 boys is nearly impossible. We took professional family pictures while we were there and I sure hope I can manage to get a decent one.

The first night after our long car ride we stayed with my brother Jordan. I was going to let the kids stay up but Jack was exhausted, I thought this was cute.

Daddy FINALLY arrived on Friday night, man was I happy. No more 2 weeks apart from him for a LONG time!
This is while we were waiting to take pictures, Coleman was practicing his smile with Daddy. I promise Justin does not have that many chins...its the picture, but it was too darn cute not to post.

The boys had so much fun playing with ALL of their cousins. This was them the whole way home from Utah....well that is after Lincoln threw up TWICE!

And now for some AWESOME news, well to me at least. Coleman can now hold his own bottle! YEAH my life is now a little easier.

Grammy's House

We went to the zoo and rode the fun little train.

And the castle park....the boys favorite!

Splash Park

We went to a fun park with some of the cousins.....Lincoln is not pictured because once again he decided to hide out and do his own thing....I am beginning to think he is not much of a water person.

Coleman and cousin Delaney

Wow is this kid chubby.,...and dang cute!

Jack and cousin Dawson

Sly Park Lake

Last Saturday we went up to Sly Park and played at the Lake All day. Jack had a blast....Lincoln not so much. The weather was beautiful and also so was the scenary. When we where driving here to California, Jack says to me, "Mommy why are there so many trees here in California?".....sad I know!

Jack and his cousin Max

Coleman and Aunt Melissa

Coleman and Pappa

Jack and cousin Delaney..they are 3 weeks apart and so cute together.

All Because Two People Fell in Love.....

Justin's Parents had their 35th wedding anniversary while we have been here in California. Together they have 14 grandchildren so we took them to the temple to get some cousin shots. We love you Grandma and Grandpa!

I Love to See the Temple

Michelle and I needed to go to the distribution center today, so we thought we would make a day out of it and take the boys for a picnic lunch and walk around the temple grounds. The boys were so good and were walking around with their arms folded...so cute! They kept calling the Angel Moroni the trophy on top of the temple :)

Chase, Jackson, Connor and Lincoln
these boys are so adorable ! so cute
These guys are moving at the end of this week which makes me so sad....we won't even talk about it! :( The boys will really miss their best friends...me too!

Lincoln stopping for one QUICK smile....not easy to get a good pic of him these days.

Coleman had fun too! By the way this outfit is 24 months....Lincoln wore this when he was 2 for pictures......yikes. The doctor told me it was time to switch him out of the infant carrier too...so he is in the big boy seat riding backwards.....growing way too fast! not sue why his collar is popped in this picture...not intentional.

For a long time now Jack's favorite song to sing at night time and in primary is "I Love to See the Temple" so I thought it would be cute to have him sing it in front of the temple. Obviously we need some help with some of the ending words. Yeah I know i am an idiot and had the camera turned when taking this video.

I am excited to take them to the Sacramento temple in a few weeks!

Out of the Mouth of Jack

"Mom, Lincoln is just cute, and I'm really, really, really cute!"

"Mom, why are there bad words on earth?"

Our Little Acrobat

So Coleman has been doing this for quite some time now. He can hold a back bend for minutes...seriously like this for a long time. And this is pretty much how he gets around, he bends back and the pushes off with his feet. He has a pretty mean bald spot in the back because of this mode of transportation....hopefully he will crawl on his stomach soon.

The Circus

So we went to the circus again with some of our great friends, The Roe's, The Christensen's and The Knights. Thanks to Camille, who has gotten the tickets for us 2 years in a row now, its become a fun tradition. All the boys could talk about is how they were going to see the elephants poop ( I think last year the elephants were sick or something)...after the circus was over Jack said to me, "Its over....but we didn't see the elephants poop!"

The Christensen's used to live across the street from us and Jack and Carlaya were such good buddies. We don't see them as often as we would like but Jack still says that Carlaya is "his girl" so he was excited that she would be there. And of course his best buddy Connor.

The boys during intermission. Isn't this picture adorable? Coleman was sleeping darn it!

We had a great time, Jack especially loved the Magic tricks, specifically the one where the man was cut in half. And Lincoln loved the Tigers and the elephants.

We can't wait for next year!

Coleman and Jack Playing

One of Coleman's favorite things to do is to roll around with Jack.....he LOVES him!

Recognize this man???

This is Gilles Marini from Sex in the City Movie, Dancing with the Stars.......Ok well the paparazzi took this photo of him wearing a "Skeletal Metal" Cross and

THE SHIRT THAT MY HUSBAND DESIGNED!

I think this is really cool! I realize that he is not like a huge A list celebrity, but that will come. Justin designed this shirt for U2.......I think he needs more money!

Does anyone else think this is cool? Or am I just a crazy wife?

LEGO Party!

Last Friday we had Jack's LEGO Birthday Party....Here is a picture of the invite.

I made giant LEGOS out of shoe boxes by for decoration and the kids loved building with them, i made about 17 and am planning on making more to build forts and stuff....really fun for the boys.

Here is my attempt at a LEGO cake...not professional but Jack was thrilled!

We gave each of the boys small LEGO sets with a balloon to take home. If you can see in the background I also made a LEGO banner to hang that matched the invites....Justin was mad at me for this one, I just can't help myself!

Here is one of the things they built together.

Jack and his BEST FRIEND Connor.

I missed the blowing of the candles but here he is right after.

We played LEGO games like, "who can build the highest tower", "hot LEGO" with a giant LEGO, "who can find the most green LEGOS", etc.

Here is the group minus one friend who left a bit early. It was really fun to watch Jack interact with his school friends.

All and all the party was a success.......not again for a couple of years!
