Primary Activity Cake

Well we just had our Primary activity this past Saturday. It was a cruise theme that we called "THE FRIENDship" we had the kids stop at different "ports" which were different activities from "The Friend" magazine. It was really fun. I thought the cake turned out pretty good, it was HUGE! I used 9 cake mixes. I have to give a huge thanks to Justin, he frosted the whole thing, that is the worst part trying to get that darn icing to look smooth and I had had it. So I called on my perfectionist of a husband and I think i will need to make him a partner, he did really good.

That's ADORABLE. You seriously need to start a cake making business. I'll be your first customer! :)

That cake is awesome. I am sure your whole activity was great. You were the bomb as a secretary so I can only imagine how great you are as a president.

Megan, that cake is AMAZING! I may have to fly you in to make Millie's 1st birthday cake!! And yes, you totally need a little girl - she would be sooo adorable.

Can I just say I think I miss Bunco the most of anything! I know I only even got to play twice, but it was so fun.

Justin, your creativity that flows from being so in touch and at ease with your feminine side is borderline disturbing. I can't wait to see what you would be able to do when presented with a needle and thread.

But do they taste as good as they look? I'm sure they do!

Megan, you're amazing. I can't believe you made NINE cakes! And it turned out totally cute! I looks like a real ship!

OK, here's a confession, and I'm not exaggerating. I have NEVER baked a cake. My mother liked her space in the kitchen when I was growing up so I didn't get much observation time. I've never tried anything harder than brownies or chocolate chip cookies. So if you ever need some help for the next big activity, maybe I can come over to watch, learn and hand you bowls and utensils and stuff!

An answer to your question, NO WAY on Tila Tequila. Come on, I have to draw the line somewhere!
