Batter Up!

So its another season of baseball. This season I really love Jack's team, "The Dolphins"....Justin, not so much. Half of the team are girls and all of the parents are teachers, so they are all very non-competitive and just want the kids to have a good time. Jack LOVES it and so that makes me happy.

Before and after each game they do this cheer.
"Who are we? The Dolphins!
What do we play" Baseball!
What do we do? Our Best!"

How cute! Not to be cheesy, but Carl did a lot of research in coaching/youth sports, etc. when he did his Bachelors and Masters and for young children "just having fun" instead of a competitive attitude actually pays off in the long run in sports and helps the kids stick with sports longer rather then getting burnt out because a lot of pressure is put on them at too young of an age. Ok, no more cheesy talk...

Jack is so big and cute! I can't believe how these kids grow so fast!

That is so cute! I love Jack's uniform with his name on it! I can't wait for Harrison to be old enough to play!

OK, I just read your rant post. Megan, you are so funny. Here's a secret...I think animals are FILTHY but I really like them, I just don't want hair and dirt in my house...so there's a problem.

And cut yourself some slack about the house, sistah! You have four boys living with you. I can't keep mine straight and I only have two. And why do we always feel like failures if the house gets messy? It's not fair...it's an impossible task. Poor Mommies.
